Each morning in the ECLI, we will engage in Writing into the Morning and use Digital Citing to recall our previous learning.
Agreements
- No “ritual apologies” – just speak your mind
- Speak up if you have something to say
- Okay to admit to your “not knowing”
- Can choose when to speak or when to remain in private thought
- Feel free to move, etc. when you need
- Be present – on your “learner’s edge”
- Be open-minded in your presence
- What happens in ECLI STAYS in ECLI – respect the vulnerable moments, topics, information and thoughts of others
- Honor the time (start, end, breaks, etc.)
- Allow “think time” for people
- Be active listeners
- Try to use “I” statements when discussing our practice, so we don’t stereotype with the “we”
