I am a teacher, writer, hiker, and dog mom among other things. In September I will be starting my third full year teaching 7th-grade ELA in Kingston. In 2017 I was part of the Early Career Institute as part of the first cohort, and this year I came back for a second year as a “Returning Fellow” to help support and coach other Early Career teachers like myself.
This summer started off in a whirlwind! I married my best friend at the beginning of July and we spent twelve days in Italy together. Now that I am back I am thrilled to be joining ECLI again to delve into writing and inquiry.
